Furry Walls

The baby stay repair is finished and all is well once again on board Dream Catcher. The repair was time consuming, but not overly difficult. Still, I'm glad it's behind me.

The attached photo shows the final repair. If you look closely, you can see I am just starting to button the wall back up.

While fixing the boat, we finally decided to bite the bullet and pull the stupid carpet off the walls of both staterooms. I'm not sure what the designer and builder were thinking, but in my opinion, carpet has no place on an ocean going vessel.

We considered several options and in the end decided to try out some industrial strength paint we scored from Lowes in New Bern. I guess time will tell if we've made the right choice, but so far things are looking much better than our previous "furry wall" look.

For those of you who have not seen Get Him to the Greek, you may not understand the furry walls reference, but rest assured no one on board Dream Catcher was riding the "Jeffrey" at anytime during this log entry.

Be safe, it's dumb out there....

Dude, drugs are cool and I like the Jeffrey. Wanna get high?

...i'm feeling out of the loop...more so than usual....."get him to the greek"?????....nope...doesn't sound animated....and is in no way part of the Harry Potter movie saga....there was no blown up war-type-footage(HALO  reference) and if Justin Bieber didn't sing through it....I probably haven't seen it......WA-WA-WAAAAAA

When I saw the title I thought the ferrets had rubbed up against the repair.  Don't feel left out old sister, I have no idea of the greek reference either.

When we tore the carpet off the walls in our boat I first glued 1/2" white closed cell ethafoam to the walls for insulation and then glued sheet vinyl flooring in a oak plank pattern over it. it now looks like wood batten walls!

What's the story on the big assed cat anchored out from the Bean.  It's been there for three days or so.  Must be pigg'n out at M&Ms?
